How do you develop award-winning ideas? How can camera angles, scripts, and editing impact a final video? How can you incorporate stop-motion animation into filmmaking? Your students will explore the answers to these questions as they have fun and work with others to bring ideas to life through the art of filmmaking and animation.
Daniel Weintraub is the director of The Art Effect’s Forge Media. Daniel began making films as a teenager, winning an international film festival at age 16. He went on to earn a degree in film and television at Northwestern University. Daniel has written and directed numerous short films that have screened at film festivals around the world. Professionally, he has worked as an editor and director on a vast variety of projects; from network promos to experimental films to documentaries and TV shows for clients such as Comedy Central, HBO, NBC and The Travel Channel. Daniel is currently at work directing his first feature length documentary: “Deep Listening: The Story of Pauline Oliveros”.
