Figure Drawing
Ages 14-19


Excel in drawing basic human anatomy, gesture drawing, figure proportions, portraits, and long term poses using a variety of materials and techniques. Students will work from a live nude model, and will explore composition through the human form, observation, and discussion. Materials and nude model fee included.

Laura Hammond Toonkel is an adjunct lecturer and internship coordinator at Marist College’s Department of Art and Art History. She holds a MFA from Pennsylvania State University and a BFA from School of Visual Arts. Her work has been exhibited nationally and is included in corporate & private collections.
