Basic Drawing & Illustration, ages 8-12


In this introduction to illustrative drawing, students will work with illustrator Elizabeth Dama as they learn about materials, drawing techniques, facial expressions, exaggeration, color, spatial relationships, and conceptual ideas. Graphite, color pencil, and other drawing materials will be explored.

Elizabeth M. Dama holds a BFA and a MFA in Fine Art from The School of Visual Arts in NYC. Her work, inspired by art history, has been exhibited throughout the United States and Canada and is in several private collections.
