A functional understanding of anatomy, gesture, and proportion is the foundation of any figural artwork. Working from a live nude model, you will develop an advanced understanding of how to render the human form convincingly from direct observation. Using a variety of materials and techniques, you will gain confidence in mark-making and grounding your figures in dynamic compositions.
