Students develop a strong foundation in filmmaking while exploring camera angles, scripting, lighting and editing. Watch your young filmmaker’s ideas come to life through the moving image! Students will get behind the camera and collaborate with other aspiring storytellers.
Daniel Weintraub is the director of The Art Effect’s apprentice production house, Forge Media. Daniel began making films as a teenager, winning an international film festival at age 16. He went on to earn a degree in film and television at Northwestern University. Daniel has written and directed numerous short films that have screened at film festivals around the world. Professionally, he has worked as an editor and director on a vast variety of projects; from network promos to experimental films to documentaries and TV shows for clients such as Comedy Central, HBO, NBC and The Travel Channel. Daniel is currently at work directing his first feature length documentary: “Deep Listening: The Story of Pauline Oliveros”.
