Are you an aspiring cartoonist, illustrator, or animator? Learn to create compelling and well-composed digital images, and then learn how to animate them using digital tools! Build a foundation towards your future with high-tech digital tools by learning the fundamentals of Procreate and the Adobe Suite to create self-portraits, expressive cartoons, learn how to digitally paint personal landscapes, and more. Short form and long form animations will be explored.
Sarah Timberlake Taylor graduated from Bard College where she majored in Film Production. She served as a line producer and assistant editor on the award-winning film Persistence of Vision by documentarian Kevin Shreck. Sarah has worked previously with TMI Project, a non-profit organization offering transformative memoir workshops that culminate in empowering performances. She was a part of the production teams for Tales from Geriassic Park: On the Verge of Extinction and America’s Next Top: One Top’s Hysterical Take on Life, Love, and Boxes, two one-woman-shows that grew out of original monologues written as a part of TMI Project and have toured around to various festivals and events including Fringe NYC and United Solo Theater Festival. Sarah is currently working as a teaching artist at Spark Media Project. She works as a part of the 21st Century Program and the Drop Studios team, teaching Drop TV and Media Magic.
