This class will be focused on transforming the students’ love of filmmaking into a broader set of skills they can use to express themselves and achieve their creative goals. The main creative thrust of the class will be to get kids to step away from the one-shot You Tube video aesthetic they are used to. They will learn the importance of using camera angles, camera movement, lighting, sound design and editing to tell their stories.
