In Session 1: To draw and paint how you feel about any object, you must learn how to truly see it. Working from observation, you will expand your skills in rendering gesture, anatomy, and composition. Experiment with abstraction and other expressive techniques as you work with still-life and the nude figure model.
In Session 2: Go beyond rendering what you see and develop a meaningful and expressive fine art portfolio. Through exposure to today’s leading artists you will learn how to apply contemporary practices to your work. Assemble a meaningful body of work by selecting an idea, theme, motif, or prompt to explore throughout several pieces that showcase your creative drive.
