Arts Camp

Dutchess & Ulster Arts Camp

At Dutchess and Ulster Arts Camp, children ages 4 – 12 will enjoy a fun-filled summer of friends, nature and ART! At each of our picturesque locations your child will be surrounded by professional artist-educators to take them on a summer journey into CREATIVITY! From ceramics and painting to playwriting and dancing, campers are empowered to tap into their imaginations and develop their own ideas while making lasting relationships with their peers.

Every Friday afternoon, parents and friends are welcome to join us in a weekly sharing of your child’s creative discoveries, a unique multi-arts performance and an exhibition of their work! You’ll be amazed at what your child creates this summer.

The Art Effect is monitoring the spread of COVID-19 in New York and will continue to implement health and safety measures to protect our students and their families. The Art Effect’s in-person programs are on hiatus at least through April 20, 2020. As long as Dutchess County and New York State have mandated school closures and there is local, state, and federal guidance to avoid social gatherings, we will not run in-person programs. When we postpone, reschedule, or shift the format of classes, parents and participants will be notified immediately. Should it become necessary for The Art Effect to cancel scheduled camps or classes, prorated refunds will be issued to those affected by the cancellation. We thank you for your continued support and we will keep everyone apprised of any major changes at The Art Effect that may occur.
