Explore The Art Effect with programs focused on providing immersive, introductory arts and media experiences to help empower youth with the confidence that comes from discovering and sharing their creative voice.

Dutchess & Ulster Arts Camp serves children ages 4-12 with fun and formative experiences in the visual, media, and performing arts in Poughkeepsie, Millbrook, New Paltz and Red Hook.

After-school and summer programming, supported by the Empire After-School grant in partnership with the Poughkeepsie City School District, encompasses nine after-school programs in City of Poughkeepsie schools (elementary, middle, and high school). Students gain skills in visual arts, radio production, filmmaking, stop-motion animation, graphic design, editing, and more.

Arts for Healing brings expressive arts therapy workshops to local partner agencies such as Vassar Warner Retirement Home and Children’s Home of Poughkeepsie. Participants explore various arts modalities to reduce stress, manage anxiety, and access different memories or emotions.
