Residencies
For over 25 years, we’ve worked with schools throughout the Hudson Valley. The Art Effect collaborates with faculty and educators on short- and long-term residencies tailored to creatively engage students in diverse subject areas, reinforcing skills and content they are learning in the classroom through media production and artmaking.
School Residencies:
The Art Effect works with school faculty to bring our programs directly into the classroom. Our multimedia lesson plans can accommodate for age, content, format, and length to fit district-specific needs and/or Common Core standards, while keeping students actively and creatively engaged.
We also offer school-wide assemblies in which we serve a larger audience in a shorter period of time (a great way to bring media/arts education into the school setting!) and after-school residencies to fit district-specific needs and/or Common Core-related standards and learning targets.

Teacher Trainings/Professional Development:
The Art Effect works with educators to incorporate arts and media into their teaching through professional development trainings. Educators can gain the knowledge and hands-on practice to introduce media into standard curricula.
